"To be brave is to forsake all others to be true to yourself."- Glennon Doyle

Now accepting new therapy clients in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia

Therapy isn't about fixing you. It's about coming home to yourself — the messy, brilliant, burned-out, brave parts that have never had a safe place to land.

I work with women, couples, creatives, and high-achievers who are navigating mood disorders, life transitions, and relationship burnout. People who hold everything together for everyone else and are quietly exhausted by it. Together, we create a space where you can finally put it all down — and figure out what you actually want to pick back up.

My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and deeply collaborative. We'll explore your attachment patterns, nervous system responses, and the stories you've been telling yourself about who you are and what you deserve — then we'll build something different. Something that actually fits.

I'm Jazzmyn Proctor, M.S., LGPC, NCC, CTP — a therapist specializing in trauma-informed, attachment-based care. I hold a master's degree from Hood College, and my work is supervised by Dr. Jennifer Kaufman Walker. Outside the therapy room, I've served on the board of directors of Annapolis Pride and have spent years showing up for community-led mental health efforts — because I believe the change we want to see in the world has to be lived, not just talked about.
